No, smoking in the hotel is not allowed. All rooms are equipped with a smoke detector. Those who do smoke can expect a fine of € 150,-. Smoking is allowed outside the hotel.

You can bring your own food and drinks to the hotel room. The rooms also have a well-stocked minibar and you can also order room service. There are vending machines in the corridor of Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre with a varied selection of snacks and drinks. Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre is adjacent to Mainport and therefore easily accessible.

The hotel has a wellness centre with a Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna, hammam, massage rooms and Life Fitness gym. Guests of Mainport can also visit the wellness centre with swimming pool of Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre.
The hotel also has Meetings & Events rooms, a restaurant, a bar and all rooms are equipped with the iconic whirlpool. The more luxurious room types have a private sauna.
Is there a spa in the hotel?
In the wellness centre of Mainport you can use the Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna, massage treatment rooms and Life Fitness gym.

Check-in at Mainport starts at 15:00 PM.
At what time can I check-out?
Check-out is before 12:00 AM.
Is it possible to check-in earlier?
If the room is already available on arrival, you can check-in earlier. However, we cannot guarantee this in advance. The official check-in time is 15:00.
Is a late check-out possible?
A late check-out is possible until 18:00 PM if the availability allows this. Please note that this is not possible on Saturdays.
What are the costs for a late check-out?
The costs are € 15,- for each hour you wish to stay longer in the room.
Is it possible to check-in late in the evening?
A late check-in is possible. Please inform the hotel of your expected time of arrival.
Can I leave my luggage after check-out?

All rooms in the hotel have a whirlpool, except the Waterfront Spa rooms. These have a whirlpool.

There are no disabled access rooms. However, there are possibilities for a shower chair in the room.

Mainport serves an international breakfast buffet with bubbles including orange juice, warm rolls, and various spreads. There is also a live-cooking element where, for example, pancakes and egg dishes are prepared for you.

Breakfast in your room is possible for a room service charge of €7.50 in addition to the breakfast costs.
What kind of dishes does the restaurant serve?
The dishes in Restaurant Down Under are inspired by Australian cuisine known as a melting pot of cuisines. Here you can taste the world’s influences, from East to West, from sashimi to Argentinian steak.

Yes, the reception can help you with tickets for public transport. For train tickets we refer you to www.ns.nl/en. If you want to purchase your public transport tickets in advance, you can do so via ovchipkaart.nl. At the reception you can also buy tickets for the Watertaxi and RET (public transport company in Rotterdam).
Can I park at the hotel and what are the costs?
Mainport has Valet Parking. You can also park at parking garage De Boompjes or parking garage Erasmusbrug. Guests of the hotel can park at a reduced rate. An exit ticket is available at the reception desk. If you want to use this, you cannot use your credit card when entering. Check the website for more information.
Are there charging points for electric cars at the hotel?
The hotel has two charging points for electric cars. Also, most public car parks have charging points for electric cars. Check the Q-park website for the most up-to-date information.
Is the hotel easy to reach by public transport?
Yes, the tram and metro stop Leuvehaven are located in front of the hotel. Trams 8, 23 and 25 and metro D and E stop here.
Does the hotel have a transfer service?
No, the hotel does not have a transfer service. However, the hotel can call a (water)taxi to take you to your desired location.
Are there taxis available at the hotel?
There are always taxis outside the hotel. Otherwise, the reception team can assist with taxi arrangements.
Can I rent a bike at the hotel?
Yes, renting a bike is possible at the front desk. You can rent a bike for €13,- for 3 hours and €18,- for 24 hours.
Where can I park my bike?
You can park your bike in our bicycle shed.

Yes, the hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam with a police station around the corner.

Reservations & Payment
I don’t have a credit card. How can I make a reservation?
To make a reservation without a credit card, you can call the reception desk to make a direct booking.
I received a payment link. What is a payment link? And how does it work?
Via a payment link you can securely make the payment to the hotel online within 72 hours. If you click on the link, you will be automatically redirected to your bank. Here you can log in and agree to the payment. After we have received the payment, your reservation is guaranteed.
Is a deposit or prepayment required?
A charge of €100 will be made to your credit card, which is the deposit. For more information, please check your booking details or contact the reservations department.
How long does it take until I receive my deposit back on my credit card?
The deposit will be refunded during check-out, or if an authorization has been made, it will be released during check-out. It depends on your bank, how long it takes until you receive the deposit.
Can I receive an invoice?
Yes, please inform the reception and they will prepare an invoice for you.
I have booked an overnight stay on another website and I would like to change/cancel my reservation. How do I change/cancel my reservation?
Reservations placed on another website can be changed via the travel agent itself. They are happy to help you.
I have booked a non-refundable room. Can I still change or cancel?
By choosing this special rate with restrictions, you have agreed to the condition that this reservation can’t be changed. Unfortunately, we can’t make an exception.
